Daws has been a SHARP participant continuously since June of 2002. Tremron Group, Medley, Arcadia and Jacksonville Plants – Paving the Way to SHARP Success!

In July and August 2015, the Medley (Miami), Arcadia and Jacksonville plants of Tremron Group, Inc. each earned their first SHARP awards. Tremron is a leading manufacturer and distributor of backyard design and hardscape products including concrete pavers, remodel pavers, retaining walls, fire pits, clay brick pavers and permeable pavers. Headquartered in Jacksonville, Tremron Group, Inc. was founded in 1992 and has four hardscape plants in Florida - Jacksonville, Arcadia, Lakeland and Medley (Miami), a fifth plant in Douglasville Georgia. It was following a serious accident at the Jacksonville plant combined with a poor safety record the previous 12 months that the owner, Mr. Hugh Caron dedicated the resources to implement a comprehensive safety corrective action plan. “It was in early 2013, that our insurance broker suggested that we use USF’s consultation program which could potentially lead to the SHARP certification,” says Mr. Luc Girard, safety director for Tremron Group, Inc.
