Safety and Health Consultant
Jim Ulseth is a Safety and Health Consultant with the USF SafetyFlorida Consultation Program and provides safety consultation to companies in the West Central Florida Area. He has a Bachelor of Building Construction degree from the University of Florida College of Architecture.
For 18 years, as president of his own business, Wedgwood Contractors, Inc., he was responsible for assessing the needs of clientele on residential and commercial projects, working with architects and engineers in the design phase, while also coordinating safety, negotiating contracts and estimating costs, securing permits, and managing the business enterprise. He holds a State of Florida Class A General Contractor license.
Jim began work with the USF SafetyFlorida Consultation Program in 2003 and is an authorized OSHA outreach trainer for the Construction Industry, Maritime Industry and General Industry 10 hour and 30 hour classes. He is also the course chair for the USF OTI Education Center 500 and 501 courses.
