Safety and Health Consultant

Based in the Tampa Bay area, Luis F. Pieretti serves as USF SafetyFlorida safety and health consultant to employers in Central/West Florida. Dr. Pieretti earned his master’s degree in industrial hygiene from the University of Puerto Rico and his doctoral degree in industrial hygiene from the University of South Florida. Prior to joining USF SafetyFlorida, he worked as a private consultant and as an instructor for an undergraduate course and as a teaching assistant for a graduate course at the USF College of Public Health. He began his career as an industrial hygienist in the pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Pieretti is an authorized OSHA outreach trainer for the construction industry and general industry 10- and 30-hour classes. He is also an instructor for the OTI 521 Guide to Industrial Hygiene and OTI 2225 Respiratory Protection courses.
